Life goes on.

As in the above photograph of New Yorkers clustered outside a closed Starbucks coffee shop to take advantage of its working wi-fi post-Sandy, life along the Eastern Seaboard will slowly return to normal even as storm cleanup continues in the weeks to come.

Tomorrow, the New York Stock Exchange is set to re-open after two days of being closed, a spokesman said.

Officials are pondering whether the New York City Marathon, scheduled for next weekend, will continue as planned. β€œThe New York Road Runners is moving ahead with everything we can do to be on the way to putting on a great marathon this Sunday,” a spokesman told the New York Times.

One massive question of scheduling and moving on to life as usual, however, still lingers: Will Hurricane Sandy delay the election?
